Week 4- Doc Modes

I intended for my documentary to create a basis for the films main argument, without stating a biased conclusion. In order to do this, I chose an observational documentary mode. This mode uses film to verify a set of tests and trails which are used forms conclusions from a particular hypothesis, without being biased and allowing the audience to decide. The main case put forward by the film was to examine the damage in which ordinary 'everyday' objects can have on an environment when it is in an extreme situation, in contrast to the damage caused by extreme explosives. During the documentary the before and after effects of both experiments are juxtaposition with each other and intentionally untitled so the viewer can interpret the effects for themselves. The main purpose for this experiment is to determine whether it is possible to create a type of desired destruction with using everyday objects rather than dangerous explosives. I believe my film has achieved this result.

Week 2- My Ramp & Explosives

The environment was created to have near by vegetation of different sizes, with each building having a differnt type of construction inorder to see the adverse effects different types of explosions would have on the structures and its surroundings.

Week 1- My Landscape

For my terrain I wanted to create something that was reasonably flat to allow for better local views and with a dense vegetation to create depth and visual appeal.
